The latest issue of Asian Legal Business, an Asian based professional magazine, released their 2020 intellectual property rankings by country. Indochine Counsel is pleased to be ranked as tier 2 in both Patents and Copyright/Trademarks for the Vietnam jurisdiction. This continuing recognition of Indochine Counsel’s abilities and expertise in the IP law space is gratifying and we are happy to share it with you our colleagues, clients, and friends who made it possible.

When Indochine Counsel was created in late 2006, many of the founding partners came from a firm with in-depth experience in the IP space. While IP was thus an early focus for Indochine Counsel, it took nearly a year before eventual partner Nguyen Thi Hong Anh was appointed to lead the Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group.

Indochine Counsel has been consistently ranked as a tier 2 firm in the IP space by Asian Legal Business and has worked with the magazine in various ways to promote the development of IP regulations in Vietnam to improve the attractiveness of the country to investors and to improve the protections for its clients’ intellectual property.

Owned by international business and professional media company Thomson Reuters, Asian Legal Business provides authoritative and unbiased insights and unmatched networking and business development opportunities to legal professionals throughout the Asia-Pacific and the Middle East regions.

Indochine Counsel is one of Vietnam’s largest law firms. It is a business specialty firm with over thirty lawyers in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Founded nearly 14 years ago, Indochine Counsel has seven partners and is capable of running with both boutique services for IP, tech, and TMT services, and large M&A deals.
